Tuna Patties with Dill Sauce

One of our most favorite meals is tuna patties with dill sauce. I may get a little carried away with the amount of dill sauce.



Tuna Patties
Ingredients:
2 cans tuna$2.00
1 egg$0.17
1/4 cup light miracle whip$0.105
1/4 cup sour cream$0.13
1 tbsp. mustard$0.06
1/4 onion$0.28
3 cups crushed corn flakes$0.26
1/2 tsp. dill weedminimal

Mix drained tuna, egg, miracle whip, 1 cup crushed corn flakes, and dill weed. Make into 6 patties and coat with remaining crushed corn flakes. Put olive oil in pan and fry tuna patties in oil on medium. Cook until browned on both sides and cooked through. Top with dill sauce (below).

Dill Sauce
Ingredients:
1/4 cup light miracle whip$0.105
1/4 cup sour cream$0.13
1/2 tsp. dill weedminimal

Mix sour cream, miracle whip, and dill weed. Serve on top of cooked tuna patties.

Garlic Carrots
Ingredients:
2 cans carrots$1.76
garlic saltminimal

Spray pan with cooking oil and place drained carrots in it. Lightly season with garlic salt. Fry on medium and stir occasionally.
